There is only one real currency in neotoy and that is information. There is no hard or physical form of money used to "buy" things in neotoy because basic amenities are readily available and there is no way to prevent counterfeiting.

It's worth noting that while neotoy proper has no currency per se, other aspects of the continuum do. For example Jade being a far more classical universe utilizes a kind of money called kell which is a particular type of fish scale.
